This course provides practical knowledge on Human Resources Governance, Risk Management and Compliance (HR-GRC) for those professionals who already work in an HR department and also for participants that aspire to make a career move within HR. The Compliance parts of this course includes Employment Law and the recent obligations from GDPR.
The field of human resources originally dealt with matters such as personnel and payroll. Over the years it has evolved to include important aspects of GRC. As an integral part of GRC, HR audits involve an organisation’s strategic actions to take an intensely objective look at its HR policies, procedures and practices. These audits can help identify whether an HR department’s specific practice areas or processes are adequate, legal and effective. The second part of this course will tackle Employment Law, which is a branch of contract law that deals with relationships between employers and employees. The third part of this course will enable participants to obtain competencies and skills which will help them address the challenges imposed by the recent GDPR regulations with respect to data protection.
This course will help participants enhance their effectiveness in these diverse roles while staying up on the latest trends in the industry.
