On the 7th of February, LEAD Training Services held its 6th  annual certificate award ceremony, at The Xara Lodge in Rabat, celebrating the accomplishments of over 300 students.

Mr. James Grech, Director of LEAD Training Services opened the ceremony, welcoming all students and guests present to the prestigious event. Mr. Grech’s speech emphasised the importance of continuous professional development as an essential life-long learning process and an effective tool to one’s success.

Guest speaker Dr. Rose Anne Cuschieri, the NCFHE’s Chief Executive Officer, addressed the attendees by reflecting on how quality education opens up opportunities for further growth and development, paving the way for an expanded array of career options and enriching further development in the respective areas of expertise.

Mr. David Dingli, a trainer at LEAD Training Services, reminded those present that education is key to accepting and taking on new challenges that employees are continuously facing, such as the rapid transformation in the use of technology. Mr. Dingli accentuated the fact that education and continuous learning helps individuals to feed their creativity, maintains their hunger for knowledge and keeps their minds active. It is occasions such as the award ceremony, which give testimony to this desire of adults to further their knowledge and better their education.

At the end of the ceremony, certificates were handed out to the students, who qualified in ten different areas of specialisation:

• Award in Internal Auditing
• Award in Management and Leadership
• Certificate in Anti-Money Laundering and Funding of Terrorism
• Certificate in Payroll and Employment Administration
• Compliance in Financial Services and AMLRO Professional Certificate
• EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Award
• Professional Certificate in Education Administration & Management
• Real Estate Agent Professional Award
